The poem below was written by Jon Blais – the famous “blazeman” role that Chrissie does at the finish line, on the floor is for her cause of Blazeman charity, Jon Blais 37-died of ALS , an incurable ,rehabilitating disease after the diagnosis he completed Kona iron man (Hawaii) without training ( due to the effects of the disease)- he completed the iron man and then rolled over the finishing line. Unleash yourself upon the world and go places.
Giggle, no laugh.
No…..stay out past dark.
And bark at the moon like the wild dog that you are.
Understand that this is not a dress rehearsal.
That this is it……your life.
Face your fears and live your dreams.
Take it in.
Yes every chance you get…….
